The Niobium Crucible produced by China Super Tech Co., Ltd. is made from niobium material with a purity of up to 99.95%. Thanks to the high melting point of niobium (2468℃) and its low thermal expansion coefficient, it can maintain structural integrity even during repeated high-temperature cycles, effectively avoiding the common deformation and collapse problems of conventional crucibles during long-term heating.

2. Extremely low vapor pressure, effectively preventing smelting pollution at the source

Nickel has an extremely low vapor pressure under vacuum conditions, which means that during high-temperature smelting, the crucible itself hardly evaporates or releases metal ions, minimizing cross-contamination of the molten material. We have our own production lines for sintering, forging and machining. There is no need to wait for outsourcing. Customized products will be delivered within 10 days. Regular specifications are available in stock and can be delivered upon placing an order.

The dimensional tolerance is controlled within ±5mm, and the wall thickness is evenly distributed. Why is this important? Because uneven wall thickness can lead to concentrated thermal stress, and it will crack when heated. We have solved this problem through the manufacturing process.

Each batch of products comes with a material composition report, including density and impurity test data, all in accordance with ASTM B394/B395 standards. If there is a problem, there is no need to guess; it can be directly traced back to the specific process step.

Why choose niobium crucibles instead of tantalum crucibles?

Both have similar corrosion resistance, but the cost of niobium is only 1/5 to 1/10 of that of tantalum. In scenarios where the extreme acid resistance of tantalum is not required (such as synthetic diamond production, rare earth smelting), niobium crucibles are a more economical choice, and their performance is fully sufficient.

It is recommended to use it in a vacuum (≤ 10⁻³ Pa) or under the protection of inert gases such as argon. Using it in the air at high temperatures will cause surface oxidation and affect the lifespan.
