Material Description
Tantalum tubes are formed from tantalum ingots through spinning and drawing, and do not contain welded seams by default. Please specify if welded tubes are required when placing your order.
Ta1 (Industrial Pure Tantalum) – Low oxygen content, good ductility, suitable for chemical piping and heat exchanger tube bundles.
Ta2 (Tungsten-Reinforced Tantalum) – Added 2.5% tungsten, increasing tensile strength from Ta1's 205MPa to 345MPa, suitable for applications with internal pressure.
Both grades conform to ASTM B365 standards, and a Mill Test Certificate is provided with the shipment.
