This niobium-tantalum alloy produced by China Super Tech Co., Ltd. is formed by a vacuum electron beam melting process, where the two metals are precisely combined in a certain proportion. While ensuring the material purity reaches 99.95%, it also takes into account the lightweight property of niobium and the strong corrosion resistance of tantalum. 1.Upgrade in corrosion resistance
By adding 30%-40% of tantalum elements, we have enabled the alloy to have a corrosion rate of less than 0.05mm in 200℃ boiling hydrofluoric acid. This is 6 times higher than that of pure niobium, and most conventional products in the same industry cannot meet this standard.
2. High-temperature strength stability
Through a two-step forging process combined with uniform annealing treatment, the alloy can maintain an 180 MPa tensile strength at 1200℃, without experiencing the common softening and deformation problems that occur in ordinary alloys.
3. Strong processing adaptability
We precisely control the internal grain size of the material within the range of 30-50 μm. When users carry out subsequent stamping and welding processing, the probability of cracking is 70% lower than the industry average.
Product Application
1.Chemical reactor lining
Many small and medium-sized chemical enterprises find the cost of using pure tantalum lining too high. This alloy can be used in hydrogenation reactors for the production of pesticide intermediates for a long time. It can not only resist the corrosion of the mixed strong acids in the reactor, but also save 40% of the procurement cost compared to pure tantalum lining, and fully complies with the safety usage standards for domestic chemical equipment.
2. Medical implant components
Due to their non-magnetic property and good compatibility with human tissues, these materials can be used to manufacture bone support components for orthopedic surgeries. They will not cause offset heating during magnetic resonance imaging examinations and have already met the domestic requirements for medical device biocompatibility testing.
3. High-temperature furnace heating belt
In the sapphire crystal growth furnace, this alloy-made heating belt can withstand a continuous working temperature of 1100℃ for a long time. Unlike ordinary molybdenum belts, it is less prone to cracking and its average service life can be extended by twice.

1.Precise proportion adjustment
We can adjust the proportion of tantalum elements within the range of 10% to 50% based on the actual usage scenarios of users. For example, in low-concentration acid environments, we can reduce the proportion of tantalum to further cut costs; in strong corrosive scenarios, we can increase the proportion of tantalum to ensure the lifespan. This is something that most of our competitors' fixed-proportion products cannot achieve.
2. Delivery of finished product form
It supports direct customization into thin sheets, rods, and special-shaped processing parts. Users can install and use them directly upon receipt, without the need for subsequent complex processing. This can help users save at least 3 days of production preparation time.
3. Batch purity lock

Compared to pure tantalum, is there a significant difference in corrosion resistance for this alloy?

In scenarios of medium-low concentration hydrofluoric acid at temperatures below 80℃, its corrosion resistance is almost the same as that of pure tantalum. Only in extremely high-temperature and strong-acid environments above 250℃, will the corrosion rate be slightly higher than that of pure tantalum. In most regular scenarios, it can completely replace pure tantalum.

Can the material be welded directly?

We have already performed stress-relief treatment at the factory. Users can directly weld it using argon arc welding without the need for preheating. The corrosion resistance of the weld seam after welding is basically the same as that of the base material.
